After Sit Down, Shut Up's less than stellar ratings, A new episode airs tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:

Fantastic episode focusing on Bobby and Hank's relationship.

Bill getting any kind of authority is always a bad idea, but still so very funny.

I'm glad this show is going out in form.

Agreed with everyone that Bill with any kind of authority at all is always hilarious.

As for the main plot, I'm torn. I really like that they finally took an episode to have Hank realize that he really doesn't have any faith in his son at all (which has more or less been going on since... well, the show started), and I really liked the way it was handled up until the ending, and then the resolution kinda let me down a little. When Hank "rescued" Bobby from the baseball game, the conversation they had afterward seemed to only imply that Hank's lack of faith in his son was justified, which didn't sit right with me. I know Hank took a second to hesitatingly admit that Bobby is good at a few things, but I dunno. I guess that wasn't enough to make the resolution satisfying for me.

I guess I, like a lot of other fans, am just tired of the "Hank was right all along about everything" endings. I do think that the coach overdid it with the praise, but Hank really was in the wrong for doubting his son to such an extreme, so there must have been some happy medium between the praise and doubt to put Hank in at the ending instead of making his lack of faith being the "right thing."

But I'm likely over-analyzing it, and the rest of the episode was great, so I guess it balances out. I really am going to miss KotH when it's gone. FOX really needs an animated show grounded in realism to balance the other crazy shows in the Sunday lineup, so this'll be quite a loss.

Hank's line, "Fine, a no cheese, no meat sandwich. How do you want it cooked?" was funny. I also enjoyed Luanne being completely clueless about Hank saying the baseball registration never arrived.

This one felt a little "samey", though. The over-eager coach felt similar to the one from "Three Coaches and a Bobby", only more judgmental of Hank. And we've seen Hank reluctant to encourage Bobby before as well.

Stuff like this makes me glad the shows ending. Not because the episode wasn't good-Authoritave Bill was LOL worthy, and there were several nice gags throughout-but because it's just starting to get a little tired. A couple more years (especially considering Mike Judges current attitude), and this show could end up like The Simpsons... and I really don't want that.

Another great episode. Again, Hank has to be right, but however that coach was out of line when he didn't pull Bobby from the game. I mean that proper moderation would have been better, maybe a better balance of that.

Though Bill in power was enjoyable, though I am kind of surprised that we didn't see a downfall for that. I mean we got one for Bobby when he realized how much he sucked, especially that scene where the kids were laughing at Bobby was animated, reminded me of the art you see "Big League Chew" bags, I need to get me some of that now.

Actually, I did like the fact that Hank screwed up. He made a lot of bad moves in this episode which is very unusual considering how the show usually goes, but made perfect sense in the context of Hank's character.

Hank really did give up on Bobby, he hit that kid (even if it was an accident), and he was neglecting his "job" on the team. We learn by the end that coach went too far, but he did have the right idea at first.

Still, I do understand the complaint about the coach being kind of like the anti-Coach Sours, though Coach Sours did injure a few children and drove the kids away to the soccer team. It would have been nice for him to ease up at the end and to make Hank wrong again, but I guess it wouldn't have ended the episode quick enough.

Either way, great episode, IMO.
