E3b1 has been show to have orginated in NE Africa,not Somali. Which is supported by the M1 which moved into East Africa down the Nile with the M78/E3b1.The direction is into Somalia, not from it.
You know, that study doesn’t mean what you think it does. It’s explaining how they figured out the rest of the world is descended from an East african population. It doesn’t mean that all Y and mt DNA types are East African in origin.
I am actually a student studying anthropology. This is basic stuff for me. Afrocentrism is one thing I dislike.
It would be physical anthropology and biological anthropology. They are both great careers, and it teaches you about our ancestors and how they might have looked.
