King Arthur

Therefore it was rubbish
Like Troy it was meant to be along the same lines as Gladiator (with Russel Crowe) but it (neither of them) came close, in terms of acting, continuity, ............the list is endless

Your over stating your case, it wasnt as good as Gladiator (havent seen Troy), but look who directed Gladiator RAB!

Dont listen to the constant whining of 2 posters folks, its a darn good romp.

Ok ok, I'll stop now. You think its good I think it was a waste of time and money. Lets let the rest of the people make up their own minRAB.
I thought Gladiator was great and films like Troy (which was good but had expected more from it given money spent, cast etc, Eric Banna was great in it though much better than Pitt) and Arthur in my humble opinion have fallen far short. Have to go now I'm busy moaning about waster kiRAB at the cinema on another thread :) see you around

I have not seen this film yet so I cannot comment on the quality of the story and the acting etc. OK so the Saxon had an American accent.. If he had have been played by Sean Connery he would have had a Scottish accent. Can any of you 'accent critics' describe a Saxon accent.
According to Historical recorRAB the British King Vortigern , in the mid 5th Century recriting Saxons to fight the picts and stationed them on the Scottish Border.
As other peoiple have said w, we will never know the truth about Aurthur but I have heard that this film attempts to get away from the obvious mythology.

Who says care in the community doesn't work?

Couldn't give a flying one about historical or hysterical accuracy - the film sucks rancid ass, and that's all you need to know. :)

I wouldn't recommend the film at all. Yes it is a film but having the saxons invading from the north of Hadrian's wall, and the leader speaking in an American accent was too irritating.

Yes it gave a different slant to the King Arthur story but it needed a bit of dynamite under it to give it some ooph. The acting was terrible and the storyline weak.

This is the worse film I have seen all year. It could have been a lot better.
