Gasoline stores an amazing amount of chemical potential energy per kilogram. It fuels a car as the car transforms this chemical potential energy into kinetic energy. At the end of the day, the car has no kinetic energy and the gasoline has been used up. Where does the energy go and what part of the car is responsible for the majority of that transformation??

Ahh I have no idea!
