I think he was just trying to diffuse the tension by breaking up the B/E kiss. I think the big thing was that he went to go talk to Emmett for BAY, I honestly don't think he would get involved with Daphne's love life.
 
Thanks. Took me a while to get here, not hanging on FF much these days, but after the final before the hiatus last night I had to get my fix, so here I am.

I'm Zee, probably too old to watch the show, but I'm so addicted. Re-watched all their scenes again today.
 
Can I just say I had a bad dream last night about Bay and Emmett :( Ty came back and was giving Bay back her art that she gave him and Emmett walked in at the exact time to make look worse than it was. He was upset that somebody else knew about her "Ax girls" and helped put them up besides him. Stupid dream! Im still worried about that in the future though since she said nobody knew :no:
 
I wish there was one universal sign language. I'm Norwegian, live in Austria, but I want to learn ASL lol

I thought it was cool the we finally got to see Toby do some signing in the last epi, love his "sign" for Bay lol

Vanessa Marano: I'm definitely Team Bemmett!!!!!!


Question: Will there be more episodes of Switched at Birth?! I LOVE EEE-BBAY.

Vanessa Marano: Yes, there will, 22 more airing next year and I love EEE-BBAY!!!!!!!


Question: What is your real life relationship with Katie Leclerc (Daphne) like?

Vanessa Marano: Awesome, I love Katie. She is extremely talented. And she's making me dinner on Wednesday!


Question: What's it like communicating with the deaf actors on the set? Is it like how the characters interact on the show?

Vanessa Marano: Yes. It's a lot like that, we have interpreters on set. Sean likes to talk without his interpreter


Question: Why do you think Bay and Emmett connect so well?

Vanessa Marano: They're basically the same type of people. They both have the same appreciation for Daphne. Both of them understand Daphne more than anyone else does.


Question: Is Bay's personality like your own?

Vanessa Marano: No, our humor is similar but nothing else. She is completely the opposite of me.


Question: Is Sean Berdy anything like Emmett in real life?

Vanessa Marano: No, I don't think he's like Emmett. Sean is way more open than Emmett, he's less sarcastic than Emmett.


Question: Do you think it is difficult to have a relationship between a deaf & hearing person in real life?

Vanessa Marano: Yes, it's difficult to have any kind of relationship. But you need to make the extra effort to learn about that person's world. But it doesn't mean it's easy.


Question: You and Sean have such good chemistry. Do you date in real life too?

Vanessa Marano: No, I think it's a bad idea to date people you work with.


Question: How have fans reacted to Bay and Emmett's relationship?

Vanessa Marano: Good, how are you guys reacting to it? Everyone good with it? What do you guys think? I like it.


Question: Who do you connect with most on set?

Vanessa Marano: We're such a good group. We all love each other.


Question: Are the people on the show really deaf or not? I don't think they are but just to make sure!!!

Vanessa Marano: Katie is Hard of Hearing. Sean and Marlee Matlin are Deaf.


Question: OMG! OMG! OMG! Emmett talked!! Does Sean Berdy ever talk in real life?

Vanessa Marano: In real life, Sean talks as much as he signs! And a goal on set is for all of us to sign as much as we talk.


Question: What was your favorite moment from this episode?

Vanessa Marano: 2 things. The Emmett and Bay moment when he talks. And the Daphne and Bay stare-down at the end of the episode.
 
Maybe I am on a high from last night but my favorite EB scene is the "I just want you" scene. It was just so monumental that he spoke to her. That was a very big deal.

My favorite kiss is their first one as others have said. :nod:
