I finally have the "Chasing Cars" video up. I tried so hard with this vid, to show their connection, but it didn't come out the way I wanted it to. I hope you guys still like it...I mean their epicness should be enough, right? :)

As for Bay finiding out about the kiss...I don't think it would be a big blow out. I feel like she would, like with everything else, let Emmett explain himself. Also, after the fight, she thought they were broken up (I'm assuming, because she said she gets that he wants to be with Daph and doesn't want him to make this harder for her), so she might let the kiss slide. I'm not saying she will be like "oh, it's no big deal - don't worry about it, sweetie", but I think they will get over it quickly. With everything they have been through, and especially after him saying the "I just want you" comment, I think Bay is secure enough in their relationship to not let this slip-up drag them down.

^^ Amanda, I'm worried about Daphne telling Bay about the kiss, also. I hope Emmett tells her before Daphne gets the chance. And speaking of Daphne, is anyone else really impressed with Katie Leclerc right now? I am! I am also impressed with Bay. I love that she reached out to Daphne at the end, and when Daphne was telling her that she was going to steal Emmett, Bay was just like, "Okay..."

I love that during the fight between B/E, Bay didn't even have to follow along with his signs to know what the problem was. There was no way she could follow with how fast he was going, but she still knew that the underlying reason for his frustration was that Daphne told him she liked him.

Loved it.
 
Totally, and I try the signs that I see on the show, I have picked up several of them. Problem is, I speak German all day, so ASL signs won't do me any good even if I did meet someone to sign with.

I knew the alphabet as a kid, and I still know most letters, and that is fairly universal. The one hand one that is.

I like your analogy and yes ASL is the language as you just described it. The first man to call ASL as the real language was a hearing man and his name was Dr. William Stokoe.

According to Wikipedia, William C. Stokoe, Jr. was a scholar who researched American Sign Language (ASL) extensively while he worked at Gallaudet University. He coined the term cherology, the equivalent of phonology for sign language (but sign language linguists, of which he may have been the first, now generally use the term "phonology").

From 1955 to 1970 he served as a professor and chairman of the English department at Gallaudet University. He published Sign Language Structure[2] and co-authored A Dictionary of American Sign Language on Linguistic Principles (1965).

Through the publication of his work, he was instrumental in changing the perception of ASL from that of a broken or simplified version of English to that of a complex and thriving natural language in its own right with an independent syntax and grammar as functional and powerful as any found in the spoken languages of the world. Because he raised the prestige of ASL in academic and educational circles, he is considered a hero in the Deaf community.

Yea I forgot to mention that last night. Thats 1 of the many reasons these 2 work together as a couple. They are easily amused by the little things each other do and I think thats just completely adorable.



Also im affraid that when the show returns in January, one of the things Daphne will do to "win" Emmett back and break them up is tell Bay that he kissed her :( I totally understand why he did it, but shes going to make it worse than it was I just know it! Yes Im blaming her for stuff she hasnt even done yet :lol:
 
One thing I forgot to mention, I actually love how Bay wasn't going to fight for Emmett even though that sounRAB crazy lol. When they had that big argument as we know, she figured out Daphne told him about her feelings and so Bay thought Emmett now wanted Daphne. She asked Daphne earlier in the episode when she was talking about Daphne treating him like a lapdog if "she wanted that for him?" That right there told me Bay knew Daphne wasn't thinking of Emmett in all of this and honestly never really has. She has always taken advantage of Emmett even though I don't think she realized it. This also told me Bay was concerned about Emmett's happiness. Therefore, when she thought Emmett was choosing Daphne over her, she wasn't going to fight it because that is what she thought Emmett wanted. She was being selfless in this scenario and it showed how much she actually cares about him. She wants him to be happy even if that means sacrificing her own happiness. I liked this because it showed the contrast between Bay and Daphne. At the end when Daphne said she wasn't giving up and was pursuing Emmett, it told me Daphne was being extremely selfish and doesn't really care about Emmett the way she claims to. If she did, she would let him go. She knows he is happy, knows he chose Bay and yet she doesn't care. She is ignoring his feelings completely. This is the opposite of how Bay handled it.

Edit: And I know Bay felt she couldn't "compete" with Daphne but ultimately, she still thought that was what he wanted so she let it go. Bay=selfless, Daphne=selfish.
 
I feel like im one of the few people who have never liked Regina. From the beginning I always found it odd and and annoying that she never wanted to get to know Bay when the other Parents were dooting on Daphne Regina just seemed like she didnt care and that pissed me off. Then when we found out the reason I was even more pissed at her because Bay was so hurt. I guess I dont like her because of how she treats Bay.

I have a feeling things are going to get messy if SAB keeps playing the triangle. The whole thing is making me dislike Daphne, so I really hope the show moves onto bigger and better plots. There is so much potential story, and when the show returns in January, I hope we see more of that. Less focus on the BED triangle, please. It's a great show, but I think it has much better story than a love triangle.
 
I think it might be one of those things where she walks in on it happening but yea the only other way I can see her knowing is if Emmett tells her. Maybe they get into an argument and somehow Daphne says they will always have communication problems. Maybe she will say one of the reasons being Emmett doesn't speak and hasn't since that one time he did for her when he was defending her and then he tells her the truth.

IDK, Daphne made it out to be a big deal that he has only spoken that one time and I think she believes he would never do it again. But of course he spoke to Bay so I just have a feeling it will somehow come out and she won't like it.

Ok where to begin!! :eek:

First of all, I love what Bay said to Daphne about treating Emmett like a lapdog, she is exactly right and then when Daphne was telling Emmett how she felt, he told her he was her security blanket which is what we have all been saying. Now, I hated the kiss but I wasn't surprised by it. I had a feeling it might happen especially considering Emmett thought he was in love with her for all those years.

Daphne, officially made me dislike her character tonight. What is wrong with her? She feels so entitled about everything. Emmett isn't her property and even though she clearly sees he is happy with Bay, she doesn't even care. Talk about selfish. Bay was trying to be understanding at the end and Daphne still said what she said. And she brought up Liam? If she really wanted him, she could have gone back to get him the very next episode after Bay told her she didn't want them together. Bay told her she was ok with but Daphne did nothing and that is her own fault.

I wasn't necessarily surprised by Emmett lashing out at Bay either. One, Daphne placed doubts in his head about hearing and deaf people, particularly Bay and Emmett working out. Then you have the whole music show thing and how ignorant Wilke was being and it was like Emmett was thrown back into a world which is very frustrating for him. Add on top of that, Daphne confessing her feelings and it all completely messed with his head and made him very upset. It was easier to lash out at Bay because she means more to him than anything and people tend to hurt the ones they love.

I love what Toby did for Bay by talking to Emmett and helped him get out of his own head for a second to see what he had done.

And then the scene between Bay and Emmett at school? Epic doesn't even describe it. There was a reason he was always so patient with her and didn't care that she was hearing. It was because to him, she wasn't hearing or deaf, she was just the girl who changed his life. She is special. She is IT for him. I loved the part where he said it would be "easier" with deaf Bay and to me that shows he gets that is would be easier with Daphne 9aka settling), but he said it himself, he doesn't want that. He only wants Bay. And then him speaking? It melted my heart. :sigh: That was HUGE for him!!
