Yea I think it was a little of both. I mean if Daphne was just some girl I dont think he would care all that much but since its his "Sister" he felt the need to break the tension. But yea its totally obvious his loyalites are with Bay, he did the whole "Big Brother" thing and gave the boyfriend the "dont hurt my sister" talk :blush:
 
Daphne is spoiled. Like someone else on here said,when Bay thought Emmett was choosing Daphne over her,she tried to accept it because she thought it was what he wanted whereas Daphne didn't care about his feelings at all and just plain didn't want to accept the fact that Bay made him happy.
 
Same here! Im not the type of girl to "Ship" either. Out of the hundreRAB of shows Ive watched Ive only really hardcore shipped maybe 3-5 couples at most. I cant believe how fast I became obsessed with them!:erabarrassment: Its insane! These 2 are just magic
 
Someone mentioned in the spoiler thread they were worried Bay would feel threatened by Daphne next season and they were worried about the Emmett/Daphne kiss and I just wanted to post my response here because I wanted to talk about this anyway:

I actually don't think Bay will be threatened at all. She wasn't threatened when they hugged at the end and wasn't even phased by Daphne's threat to get Emmett back. I believe the reason for that is because he did choose Bay, made the speech he did, and he spoke. That spoke volumes right there and because of that, there is no doubt in Bay's mind. She knew Daphne told Emmett how she felt and that Emmett harbored a torch for her for a long time so in that moment, he had his chance to get what he always wanted but he realized he didn't want it anymore and that he and Daphne weren't meant to be after all. Bay knew he liked Daphne for a long time but yet he didn't choose Daphne. Bay also knew before the speech as evidence when she talked to Toby earlier, that Emmett isn't comfortable around hearing people. It is very hard for him but yet he is willing to go through that for Bay. He also doesn't see her as hearing or deaf as he said, she is just Bay and Bay knows that as well. She knows she is special. She also knows how Emmett has only spoken one time in his whole life and how he was adamant about never speaking. But what did Emmett do? He spoke to her and told her "I just want you." Bay knew how big that was and what that meant. For Emmett to say those worRAB, let alone speak them, was monumental for him and said more about his feelings for Bay than anything else would and again, she knew that. All of this is why she doesn't feel threatened right now and most likely won't in the future.

And I wouldn't worry about the kiss. I had a feeling that would happen. It seems only natural for him to kiss her, the girl he thought was everything for years, when she revealed her feelings. The whole thing made him realize though that Daphne was the safe option, not the right one.


And I don't think Emmett went there with the intention to speak. In that moment, I think he just felt it was right.

And I agree Alexandra, I think Toby saying Bay liked Emmett and she was now upset did help.
 
I came back here before going to sleep (it's after midnight here) to say the same thing:) if Daphne really loved Emmett she would just let him be happy.

and one more thing. at the beginning of last episode Bay said to Emmett that she's sorry about Daphne getting mad at him/them. she felt bad about that whole situation, she felt bad for Daphne and wanted things to be "normal" again.
after this episode I really hate Daphne. she's just self-centered little bitch. she tells Emmett that she's gonna get over this, then they kiss, he pulls over and tells her once again that he's with Bay. and what she does? she's pretending to be his friend, lying that everything is OK but telling Bay that she's not giving up? i can't stand that girl anymore.

i think that Bay and Emmett should be (and are) end game. they really care about each other, and every good and loving couple has to have problems. their are bigger (although I agree with Bay: not as big as vampires dating humans:D), but not impossible to overcome, they can only make them stronger:)

I like her with Wilkie much more than I like her with Liam or Emmett thats for sure! I think they could have something pretty great. So im interested to see where that story goes. Now all they have to do is back off this stupid love triangle and pair those 2 together :sigh:
 
This is the reason I think it's good that Toby told Emmett that Bay likes him.

I do feel like he was scared of her giving up on him and "dropping" the relationship. Bay hasn't been giving him too much to go on, in terms of actually telling him how she feels and I feel like he neeRAB to know how she feels, and have her say it to him. He knows it's difficult for her, and he knows that she is trying...I just think he wasn't sure if she thought HE was worth it for her. He definatly had doubts, and saying that she was going to "drop this like she drops everything" was him expressing that fear that she was going to leave him. I actually think it was good for him to get that off his chest, and I hope sometime in the next 22 episodes, he gets more reassurance from Bay.

I think we should add Katie too! She said they were adorable, loves their scenes! She really seems to like Bay and Emmett together. Vanessa as well :lol:
