Just rewatching the summer finale tonight. Does anyone think that Emmett just found Daphne to be so cruel that after their exchange/kiss at the car wash, he subconsciously resented Daphne for not allowing him to be happy? I get the feeling after the kiss that it was almost like she wasn't even a choice for him because he couldn't or didn't want to be involved with someone who could be do cruel to him and so selfish, especially when Bay is very open, honest, and affectionate with him. There's really no comparison. And I get Thd whole "I waited & I didn't want to wait anymore" as I gave up on the idea of an us and I'm over you now.

And as a side note, Daphne acted so desperate in this episode that she came off as clinging to her 'security blanket' & I think Emmett saw that.

Gotta say I love Emmett's dimples! :blush: I love the way Bay looks at Emmett when he opens the door, after Daphne's story of how they met. Then, in the garage "Brighter than the Sun" is playing in the background. I've been wondering when that song had been featured... I couldn't remeraber. Now, I'm like, "Well duh!!!" With that look she gave him, it's the perfect song! When lightening strikes the heart... I think that's when Bay 1st started falling in love with him!
