I think they liked what they saw right from the beginning. You can't deny those looks but I think they both started liking each other by episode 6 though I don't think Emmett realized it while Bay did. I think Bay started to truly like him after Daphne's story. Emmett didn't realize it until he told Daphne nothing was going on in episode 7.
