Kinda funny...

After AT&T is planning on taking suit against Verizon, Verizon basically responds by saying "Bring it on" and says they'll pay any suit willingly if they can continue their ad campaign.

I just noticed something funny over at Verizon's Blackberry Storm 2 site, on the homepage of it, where it describes the device in an overview, it says this:

Then on the side it has a map comparison..

Man, Verizon's taking this overboard. All of their stores even have map comparisons...wow.

Good for Verizon :D at&t has been playing the bully role against Google voice and now trying to beat up on verizon for exposing them for what they are. :flamemad: I hope the system sides with Verizon and at&t hangs their head in shame!

Someone at Verizon marketing said 'people like maps... they also like visuals... and colors... lets attack AT&T'.

I'm glad they finally woke up and targeted something obvious that AT&T lacks.

What's kinda funny too is that they aren't FALSE advertising, they're just leaving out parts of truth...that's why according to Verizon spokesperson, the suit will be in Verizon's favor.

Basically Verizon is saying this is AT&T's 3G coverage and here is ours...ours is obviously much better. They don't mention that AT&T has EDGE which is like 2.5G and they also don't mention that AT&T has voice coverage from coast to coast that is comparable to Verizon's. Customers look at the map comparisons and immediately assume it includes voice service too...so it targets people who don't read the blanks.
