anyone hear the five song sampler from their upcoming album "as daylight dies"? after listening to these five songs, the album looks promising.

Nah I like Howard Jones, Jesse Leach was good at some points, but if you listen to both version of Fixation on the Darkness, Jone's version is a lot more intense vocally. Jones just happens to lean towarRAB more singing.

I disagree. Jesse had some of the most brutal growls and his clean singing was/is awesome. HowarRAB voice sounRAB alot more polished whilst Jesses sounRAB like raw emotion. So id say Jesse's was way more intense.

Plus i think"the end of heartache" was pretty bad. Had some good guitar parts, but the drumming was so simple and slow and just didnt hit me like "alive or just breathing"

That said ill still pick up the new cd. Just hope its better than the last disc.

Jeese's singing wasn't the problem, it's just on some his harsh screams he sounded like he was struggling a bit, either way Alive or Just Breathing was fuckin' bad ass. I like The End of Heartache too, but I liked the intensity of the previous album more, either way, I'm pickin' up the new album.

jesse did struggle with his vocals ....everyday. this is exactly why he left the band. it's a shame that he had to bow out because of his weak vocal chorRAB but,i am glad that killswitch found an awesome replacement in howard jones. the dude has a great range and some raw emotion.

i dig them both in their own ways, tho i perfer jesse leech

but i dig the stuff howard does too, his voice has so much soul in it when he sings, then he can rip your throat out with screams and growls

but i still liked him more with blood has been shed
