Hi,
Which age could be Tara? It has been said in any episode, that Chad is 10 years young, but nobody has told her age.
For your opinions I would be very grateful.

I don't think the shows' writers ever assigned Tara an official age on the show. Technically, she wasn't even human, she was a tomato. So her exact (as well as her aging process) is anybody's guess.

Tara, Chad, F.T. (Fuzzy Tomato), Dr. Gangreen, Igor and the Tomato Task Force were all characters from the 1988 movie sequel Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Tara and Chad were each depicted as being younger on the show than their movie selves. Chad was a young adult in the movie, and Tara was around Chad's age. Most likely, they both were "youthiisized" in order to make the series more appealing to kids.
 
Yeah, being a Saturday morning cartoon, they needed a young character, and I guess movie Chad- who was in college- wasn't *young* enough so he was de-aged. While the intial concept was the same, a lot was changed between the movie and show:

- In the show, Tara turned back into a tomato when sprinkled with salt. In the movie, it was music that triggered hers (and the Rambo tomato army's) transformations.

- Mary Jo/Greta (the Olympic gymnast) had been killed off in the first movie, and wasn't in 'Return', but was brought back for the cartoon.

- Whitley White was called Charles White in the movie, who specialized in hurling insults at the people he was interviewing.

- A young George Clooney played Chad's horndog roommate Matt in the movie, but I guess he was far too extreme a character for the series.
 
Ah yes. Try to flesh out a woman who, in the original source material, was designed to be the "perfect woman". I remember when Tara asked Chad if he wanted to.....I can't say.
 
I think she is 13 in the first series and then 15 in the second series. Unfortunately I cannot find a picture of her from the second series.
 
I think there was an episode where it mention Tara having a learner's permit or driver's license, so I'd guess she was around 15-16, the movie version was around 20-22 as was the movie version of Chad. I found kinda humourous that they were lovers in the movie and made best friends with a younger brother older sister type relationship in the series.
