Yes I read it, but i did not understand what you were referring to saying that it was not the right way... If you mean the one of the first post then i just said that it would be only a retaliation. Therefore I surely agree on the fact that it is not right nor effective. If you instead mean the way i pointed as utopical, can you explain me why?

Thanks,

Carlo

boycotting, by not buying cd's is legal and will hurt them where they most care about, in their sales figures. dos, a denial of service attack is quit illegal, easily procecutable, and will only take down their web site for a few hours. i am sure they will notice your attack for little more time than it takes for them to send the server logs to their lawyer or to the fbi. it will cost you a whole lt more than it would ever cost them and they wouldn't be detered from their course of action by it.

so what i am saying is that your idea is about as useful a deterent as terrorism is to politics. all you would do is make them angry and focus their attention on you for awhile. in the end it would have accomplished nothing, their goals would still be the same.

If that could shut down riaa forever than you would at least be my heroes. But obviously this strike could not be else than a retaliation against this company... The most rational (and utopical) way would be to not buy any record. And this would be effective only if 90% of former customers would behave likewise...
