Kill my Nokia N73 by trying to update the Firmware!

When I update any of my Nokia Phones.. I make sure that's the only app running.

I turn off everything.. Even Messengers!

Makes it more Safer!!

That is why I update my phones on my laptop, while I read the instructions on my desktop..

You should print the instructions you know..

try via fota if your n80 has it...much less chance of bricking your phone imo..of cuz unless u do stupid things in the middle of the updating process

Like i said, my phone was all off too. It would not power on or respond in any other way. There was also a faded screen saver image on the screen and it disappeared only after i removed the battery and waited a little bit. However i know for a fact that ipod caused update failure in my case because of balloon that popped up in taskbar saying that one of my usb devices may not work properly. I guess that ipod being a storage device caused some confusion. The only other usb device i used at the time was wireless mouse (i hate touchpads). I just disconnected ipod, reconnected E60, restarted NSU and it worked. If it makes any difference, progress bar in NSU was at about 20% when it stopped.
