Kill Bill

Kill Bill as a whole is a masterpiece. Don't let the naysayers say otherwise: they don't get it.

Not that there's anything 'special' to get. It's just the most fantastic movie ever. Not the best. Just the most fantastic :)

Kill Bill 1 & 2 is brilliant. I saw Kill Bill 1 for the first time during the penny movie festival on NTL, or was it Virgin at the time? I liked it that much I rented the second one from Blockbusters to get the answers to the questions that was laid down in the first one.

Volume 1, in my opinion, is better than Vol2. Overall though, they are brilliant films, in their story, their acting, their writing and visually stunning.
These were the first Tarantino (SP!) films I had seen and enjoyed every minute. Even the unbelievable bits were great and so many twists and turns... I am persuading myself to get the DVD!

I love Volume One much more than Volume Two, evident by the number of times I've seen 1 (about 7) compared to 2 (3 times).

One really underrated sequence in Vol 1 is the whole part where the Bride first lets Hattori Hanzo know she's come to meet him, upto the point he gives her the sword. It's a really soulful part of the film and you really feel the significance that owning such a weapon holRAB. Thing is, that sequence gets overshadowed by the rest of the movie (which is nothing short of spectacular), but in any other movie it'd be the highlight, trust me!

Great music throughout, soundtracks are some of the best things about Tarantino movies. Though Death Proof's wasn't as classic as his other ones (4 great tracks on that one though). I'd recommend the Kill Bill soundtracks, I play them all the time!

oops ..... almost forgot i have the two of them .....

starting to watch double films now, so they will go on the list!!

watched some of vol1 when it was on bbc3, a few days ago, and still love it
got a soft spot for poor sophie i do:cry:

Both are great films. You can't just watch the first one, once you've seen it you just have see the conclusion in Pt. 2.

For me the best scene is the fight in the snow covered garden with O-ren Ishii - the contrast between the peacefulness of the garden with the softly falling snow and the outcome of the fight is just perfect.
