Kill Bill prequel?

I heard a rumour that they might be doing a prequel for Kill Bill which would take us from the first day she met Bill right up to the day where The Bride found out she was pregnant.
Has anyone else any news on this?

i herd that there will be a Sequal, where the little girl in the first one will try and get vengance for her mother that was killed.

it was somthing along those lines.

yeah remember reading about that, something about its going to be in 15 years time! he was going to film bits now so he could do flashbacks  because he wants the same girl in it

I have heard both rumours about a Kill Bill prequel and a sequel. The prequel would be animated and would drawn in the Japanese anime style used in Kill Bill Volume 1 and will focus on the three men - pimp Estebian Vihaio and martial arts masters Hattori Hanzo (Sonny Chiba's character) and Pei Mei (Gordon Liu's character) - who turned Bill into a ruthless killer. Tarantino is rumoured to write and produce the animated film prequel!
The sequel that was also mentioned when Tarantino was discussing new chapters in the series:
"I've thought of prequels and sequels," he said. "I had this great idea where we wait five years and come back not with the Bride as the main character, but Vernita's (Vivica A. Fox) daughter as the main character. It would be fifteen years in the future, and the Bride (Uma Thurman) would be in a wheelchair."
So both a sequel and a prequel look likely but it is up to Tarantino to choose which one first!

Tarantino has also stated that he plans to release Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2 as one film called Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair. It will have more gore as it will contain the Japanese version of Vol 1 and he plans to release it before the end of the year!

"Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is definitely getting a wide release," he said, "actually, that'll probably be the first movie that Miramax, under their new company, will be releasing theatrically. It's the Japanese version, that's why I call it that, you know, it should probably come out in the next few months. It's going to be NC-17 in America. We couldn't do that when Disney owned the place but now Disney's the f**k outta there we can do anything we want! It's gonna be off the hook!"
