KIDULTHOOD- 20th June

Believe it or not, it does happen. There was a girl in my old school who used to offer blowjobs to the older kiRAB in 6th form (when she was in year 10, aged 14) for drugs. Plus I think Noel Clarke may be some sort of perve trying to see how many rude things he could get the sexy Jaime Winstone to do or say in 130 minutes lol.

There are some faults with this film, but produced on 800k, it was pretty good imo. I wonder what the ratings were for it, everyone was talking about it today.

Everyone I spoke to about it said they were going to see the sequel on Friday, so you must be in the minority of those who saw it.

I watched it today on iplayer then decided to watch it again just now. It's fantastic, gripping, fast paced and had scenes which made me have to look away.

As to how accurate it is? I'd say quite accurate.

My only gripe is the script, it felt like they were trying to get in every slang word at the moment into the characters speech, it just didn't feel natural.

That's what I think. People say "I hated [insert movie name here] because I didn't like the content" but that's just an excuse to say just that. You didn't like the content, doesn't mean it isn't a good movie. Don't know how to put it really. I mean, if you knew it was about lives of teenagers in London, you should know what the content would be! :D

Like I said, I liked it, but then I seem to like anything, but then maybe I'm only seeing good things. Also, I've put the novel version on reserve at our library to see how that is too. Would be nice just to read it too...:)

Just to update, Woolworth's have the new version on delay until the 2nd July. Might be because they want to include that episode of West 10 LDN but it hasn't been rated by BBFC yet (which by law, it will have to be!)

The funniest thing about it was the two girls weed, coke, ecstasy and drink binge. They just got up and carried on their day totally un-affected and like nothing had happened

But they were clearly used to it so could obviously handle it. Have you ever done that mixture?

I'm sure they felt it in the morning:D

I got persuaded in seeing Adulthood today. It is fantastic, very dark and gritty and certainly a more superior film than Kidulthood. Noel Clarke is a talent indeed, and mmm rather sexy!

Loved it:) will definitely be seeing adulthood. Gave in & fastfowarded the bit where Trevor had to carve the C into the mans face, yuck, so idk if he did or not, :o

Only caught the end of Kidulthood, looked pretty good... though even though I only caught the last 20 mins- hlf n hour of it, I could already predict the inevitable end.
Was a bit of a cliche I thought.

Still definately looked entertaining, and Adulthood looks interesting too! (minus Danny Dyer!! God hes aweful!)
