The story centers around Marty, an enterprising kid who deals in scrap robot parts. One day he stumbles upon the ancient Fist of Eon. Unexpectedly, the Fist comes to life and attaches itself to Marty's arm, endowing him with unknown fighting powers and at the same time putting him at the heart of a centuries-old struggle between good and evil. Soon Marty relized the reason why the fist attached to him is because he is the descendant of the Eon clan.

I thought there would definately be an episode talkback for this series debut, but there's not. It's on at this very moment. Just to let every one know, I believe this is by the same company who produced Cubix. The animation looks great so far.

I dug it. I really did.

Great animation, great action, decent story, fun characters. We've got a real winner here so far. It's a darn shame CN didn't get this one instead because I'm afraid it's going to bomb on KWB.

It's dubbed by the Ocean Westwood vocal pool. I forget the country of origin but I recall it's a foreign series. Unfortunately the lip sinc is pretty awful but on the bright side lots of Gary Chalk in this one.

Just to let you know, It was made in Korea. Oh, and yes, as I said before, almost 90% of the time, the voices don't even match the characters mouths. Too bad.

It wasn't just made in Korea, Iron...er, "Eon" Kid was actually produced in Korean first after which it was translated to European (as opposed to Latin-American) Spanish, and has now been dubbed in English.

In other words, this show may be Korean-Spanish (Spain)-American, but it's still a foreign series. That said, while I may not be familiar with the Korean language, if there are any (let's say major) inconsistancies between this English version and the original Korean (other than the name change), I WILL find out. Further, if the network starts skipping episodes, I WILL find out. It may not be Japanese, but it's still foreign, and therefore translation is a major issue here. That said, I have to assume that the network ordered the name change (maybe the network thought people would connect it to Iron Man making it a conflict of interest?).

In short, I hope I can actually enjoy watching this show without network trying to "improve" it...

It's an ok show but the dog is so annoying I felt like punching it repeatedly.

*Gets arrested by P.E.T.A*

Other than that, the mouth movement was bad and for obvious reasons that have already been mentioned in this thread, so I'll check out next week's show to see if it's worth getting into.

My thoughts exactly. The beginning of the episode pretty much wowed me and the rest was interesting, but the dog ... would not shut up. Here I thought Eon Kid would be one of the new shows that would least interest me, and Skunk Fu! would be the most. However, Skunk was awful ... god, was it awful.
