When i went home i went on demand. And i had the new program kidswb with shows like batman beyond, thundercats. And when i watch batman beyond it showed a promo saying the batman coming soon to the kidswb channel. And it showed the( Warner Brothers has officially decided to relaunch Kids' WB to CW subscribers on February 17, 2009) Can someone conform this.

What do they mean by CW subcribers cause if that means you have Cw on cable I am good to go. I hope this is true thanks for the heads up instant classic. I hope this turns into a cable channel aI would watch it even though I would watch a 4kids channel more.

I think that Instant Classic just misinterpreted that. CW isn't cable, nor is it coming to cable. And why would Kids' WB become cable when it failed as a free network? News like that would all over the internet if it were true. The message probably just meant that Kids WB will continue to exist online.

Anyways, I suppose it's a moot point now.

I hate to say this and dash peoples' hopes, but I think Instant Classic was making the whole thing up.

One, as already pointed out, CW isn't cable, and it's not coming to cable.

Two, Kids' WB is quite dead; if it were still doing well enough to go to cable, it wouldn't have gotten canceled in the first place.

Three, notice the date he said that this is supposedly going to happen: Feb. 17, 2009. It's the same date as the digital upgrade that US television is going to undergo. Apparently some people are under the mistaken belief that this digital upgrade means that everyone in the US will be getting cable. That's not what it means at all.

Four, news like this would be all over the internet if true. I also haven't heard any cable subscribers saying anything about this.

Five, Kids' WB doesn't have nearly enough shows to become its' own channel, and that's counting reruns.

Conclusion: Fake.

Kids WB could stand as its own channel, though it would have to combine its shows with all of the old Hanna-Barbera stuff that Cartoon Network doesn't show anymore (damn you Comcast for not carrying Boomerang!) in order to fill a full schedule.

Which will also never happen. Turner/Time-Warner already has two 24-hour cartoon channels; they're not going to create a third. They could just run canceled Kids' WB shows on one of their 2 existing animation channels (like CN is already doing with Johnny Test, iMucha Lucha! and Skunk Fu! and Boomerang is currently doing with The Batman) if they wanted to do that.

No. Just...no. You say that almost every time.

But Kids' WB! could work as a sub-channel. As Jeff Harris pointed out earlier this year, Time Warner could cook KWB up as a digital sub for the open market.

They certainly could. Considering all the shows Turner wont play or Warner wont let them play... there's some good potential for a KWB digital channel some day. It should need to happen for some great shows to air again but it's probably what it would take given the current management at Turner and Warner.

These shows aren't coming back, dth. Ever. And even if they did I dont think they'd be anywhere near as good as they were back in the day. Seriously, man. You really need to just let this go.

Well, I've got Comcast OnDemand, and they recently added a Kids WB and The WB section. Stuff like Batman Beyond, ThunderCats, Jack and Bobby, and All of Us are on there. And they do mention a channel, but it's their online channel.

But no, a Kids WB/The WB channel wouldn't do all that well, which is why it ended in the first place. Most of their shows are in syndacation and/or are on DVD, so there's no need for a channel now.

Well the on demand and the online channel is a start, if it becomes popular who knows what could happen? Kids WB I was not all that much into but with shows like Batman Beyond and Thundecata airing I could definatly see myself as a regular to the network....

I heard Kids WB would return to CW subscribers. It was on wikipedia, with a link which did not work. Can anyone confirm this? Also, let's all watch that Kids WB! On Demand, to show interest. You never know.

There's the red flag right there. You CAN'T subscribe to CW. It's a free over-the-air network. There are some Kids WB shows in the "On Demand" section of man digital cable systems, but the selections are limited -- Batman Beyond, Space Ghost/Dino Boy and Thundercats (at least that's what's on my Comcast service).

But other than that and what's online, there's NO grand return of the channel as a whole.
