back in school a teacher did a cool thing i am trying to teach my kids. as she was telling a story about a family camping trip she was drawing things. Something about a family was driving and drew a line across the bottom of the paper and decided here was a good spot to pitch their tent. and drew a tent. the second family drove and found a good spot to pitch their tent and drew a tent and inch or so before the other tent. the point out the nice lake (she drew an oval above the tents) after breakfast the kids (from camp a) followed a path up to the lake (now giving a right leg to the bird) the kids from camp b also followed a path up the the lake (now giving the bird the left leg) the walked along the lakes edge (going to the right) and climbed over all of the logs that were laying there (she drew a bunch of stick off the right end of the lake giving the bird tail feathers) the followed it all the way around (now at the left side of the birds body and followed a path up to ... A HOUSE??? and drew a house with two windows (for eyes??) and a door??? they knocked on the door and an old lady opened the door and yelled BOO and they all ran back down (to the left of the first path to make a long neck) at the end of all this you are now looking at a bird!!! that she just drew. i dont remember if the house part of it was right. has anyone heard of this? or know where i can find it online!??
