Kidney Stones

I'm a little nervous. The doctors just found kidney stones, which is great... I'm not imagining things... Can anyone tell me what it feels like to pass a stone?

One thing that you have on your side is that you are a girl - kidney stones are far more painful for men because they have to travel so much further. Be sure to drink plenty of water, this is very important. Maybe someone else can pitch in with their first hand account of what it feels like.
