i had problems with my kicker zx750 amp with it cutting into protection mode today when i got it. i just found out the amp requires a 80 amp fuse to power it and i used the same 40 amp fuse and wiring as i had with my other amp that is lower watts figuring it would work. tomorrow im going to get a kicker 80 or 100 amp fuse instead but should i also get 4 gauge wiring instead of the smaller but still large wiring i already have.
Can having this smaller wire still cause my amp to cut into protection mode even with having a bigger fuse???
