which of these would be louder? 1 dd 2500 series 12" sub on 1000 watts or 2 kicker cvr 12s on 750 watts? both in ported boxes. which would sound better?
whichever has a lower free air resonance and higher volume displacement. start getting educated on the specs of subs- the fine print figures. good luck. off instinct, kicker. DD more sq
Also make sure the box you put it in is the correct dimensions the sub needs. I have seen some very nice subs in boxes that were to small for them and they didnt work to well. They wernt very loud and sounded like crap.
