i already have some kicker comps, but i want a little more thump, so here are my choices due to lack of space

Kicker CVT
Kicker CVX

there will be 2 of them and i am also looking for a good amp (prefer kicker), so what would be the best sounding combo

thanks

open to any other great suggestions

I have a 2007 Ranger but mine is an Extend cab and I have a 12" JL in the back with a 150 watt amp and it does real good I had a 97 Singe cab Ranger before this one with 2 Kicker 10" subs in the Thunderfourm boxes you can buy them on Ebay for a good price and I mounted the amp above my armrest against the back of the cab. hope that helps.

P.S. I am a mechanic

Can I get a bit more information from you here? Where are you planning to mount the subs? Behind or underneath the seat? If you're worried about space, though, MTX makes something they call a "Thunderform" that will house 10 or 12 inch sub and a built-in amp comfortably in either one of those spaces.

You can also consider making a custom enclosure. The best air volume amount inside the box would be 1728 in^3 which is a 12 inch cube.

Depending on what you're looking for in an amp, you could check out the Kicker SX650.1 Monoblock Amp. Whatever amp you choose, it should be monoblock with around 650 watts at 2ohms.
