kicker solor barric L5 messing up?

i have a kicker L5 and i dont kno whats up with it like if im hitting a real hard beat in the middle of the beat it will just drop down and not be pounding as hard sometimes it will be fine all day but other times it will do it alot idk what the prob is
 
SOUNDS LIKE AMPLFIER problem, like the amplifier is going to protection mode
 
Actually if the amp was going into protection mode there would be no sound coming from the sub at all.
This really sounds like the sub is on the way out. The L5 and L7 are very well known to have mechanical problems. Kicker has had their day in the sun, but that was a long time ago. Time for them to rethink the L5 and the L7, way too many problems.
