Kicker Comps or Alpine Type E's?

Currently I have two 12" kicker comps connected to an infinty 300 watt rms amp. I am thinking about getting different subs. If i switched to alpine type e's 12" would they hit better. Right now my kicker comps do not hit that hard. Would there be to much of a differece bettwenn the alpines and kickers . And what would be a good amp for either of these subs? Maybe my amp is the weak point. Thank you
 
I'm guessing your kickers are 150 Watts RMS a piece. The type e's can handle up to 250 Watts RMS a piece. If you had a bigger amp (That puts out about 500 Watts RMS) then i'd say go with the type e's. Or you could get a more powerful model of the kicker comps.
