So, i bought a used car, with an aftermarket sound system. It has a custom sub box in hte back with two 10inch kicker ex subs in it. And randomly, after 5 days of owning the car, the subs stop working. All the fuses are good, and the connection to the subs, amp and headunit. I've checked everything. I brought it in to a local shop for some professional help, they checked it out with an ohm meter and tried plugging in my ipod to the amp with rca cables, nothing came out. But the thing is, my amp light is green, showing it's on. There is a Low pass, high pass and off switch, which makes a little thump to the subs.... it's very odd. The people at the shop said i would have to probably get a new amp. It doesn't make sense why it isn't working though, it's in great condition, it just doesn't add up.
Well, if anyone has any ideas or solutions to my problem, i would greatly appreciate it.
