Kicker 10" Subwoofer and amp.. Ebay? HELP?

im considering buying a kicker solo baric l7 10" subwoofer and a ZX 750.1 Amplifier on ebay as a package.. the only thing is everyone recomends to buy a 12" sub for the zx750.1 amp.. is it worth buying the zx705.1 amp if its only going to be powering a 10" solo baric l7?
