I am trying to remove paint from the outside of my building and my tenant thinks I am doing harm to his children because of the vapors. They even called the fire department who hosed down the wall and then after finding out that it was non-toxic and had no-air pollutants that it was ok to use. It does have a strong odor and I have decided not to use it again because of this but something else with very little odor that is half as strong removing paint. I've told him that but the tenant continues to resist what I am doing. He has mentioned that the vapors from the wall can still enter the house and cause sickness to his children. I have mentioned that using latex paint would also cause a stink on the first day. Should I try to work with him or kick him out? this is month to month and the work must be done by July 1st or I lose my insurance by having a substandard building. (peeling paint is an issue). Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
