Kick-butt female characters that overshadow whimpier men...

That's true. And here's another fun fact: IG was also patterned after Blake Edwards' character Inspector Clouseau, played by the late great Peter Sellers. The association between Gadget and Clouseau was so close that in the pilot episode of IG, the Inspector originally sported a Clouseau-like mustache. But DiC decided that the 'stache made IG look a little too much like Clouseau and removed it. When the pilot was replayed on TV, the voice scripts were altered to say that the Inspector was merely trying out the mustache as a potential disguise for undercover work.

And you guys are right: Gadget was clearly Penny's father figure; I was just pointing out that biologically speaking, he was her uncle not her dad.

Well, I think that atomic betty should be noded because she does deliver a good fight with various enemies (maximus iq, among others) and her friend noah is usally kind left out (bracelet beeps when something good is going on in earth that was later overshadowed by missions from galatic guardians hq and degill) and second bananas of the crew (sparky and x5) are usally well, sidekicks. I hope that the tv series should return when atomic cartoons works on an older version of the series (redux). I wish I can ask AC on continuing the series where it left off (minus upping betty's age because I think Tahja Isen wont like the idea...) and hopefully reviving the show with the same concept like clone wars' secrets revealed arc... but that is another story...

End Point. :general:
