Just finished watching this. Found it a bit meh. The fight scenes were good but not another humour in it. The girl saying the c word wasn't shocking or offensive just very odd. Also Nic Cage's acting was he channeling Adam West in Batman or something?

If you have the blu-ray on the features it tells you that this was intentional. I personally thought the film was amazing the most amount of fun I have had in ages other than Scott Pilgrim vs the World (which IMO is better although completely different)

Both these films are in the top 3 of the year for me first being Inception the SPVTW followed by Kick Ass.

Plus the soundtrack is amazing

i do love this movie the shoot out with hitgirl and the music is very well done near the end

I loved it myself.

Avoided it to begin with because of the hype and because I thought it would just be mindless rubbish with a style of comedy not for me but I'm glad I got curious enough to give it a chance because it's a great film, deeper than the PR for it suggests and with a great blend of humour and action.

Best of all the characters were awesome and interesting and very well played, which always helps.
