KeyLock

I have an old dinosaur program - KeyLock. It is apparently left over from the Vx days when accidentally pressing the keys left the Palm on to run down the battery, unbeknownst to the owner. Now I can not get rid of it. It doesn?t show up as a program so I cant drag it to the trashcan, and doesn?t show up on JackSprat. It does show up on FileZ, but that wont let me delete it. Any suggestions. It is only three files totalling ca 8 K, but I would like to get rid of it so I don?t need to press the release every time I start up my T3. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try a warm reset as detailed at http://tinyurl.com/6c9tk . That should stop all open processes from running and allow you to delete the files.

Jim,
God works in wondrous and mysterious ways. Your suggestion didn?t exactly work. But when I went to the prefs to check on the beam receive, guess what was there, a selection for keylock. I just checked ?never? and voila! I still cant delete it, as apparently it is in ROM, but it is deactivated so ?whatever?. Thanks again for the help.

My Tungsten E has the keylock feature. I don't think drbaer's is a relic from a Vx.
