When I bought my Lexus RX300, it only came with the standard key for the door. I know it has keyless entry, but I don't have the remote for it. Most of them are really expensive, but this one on ebay is much cheaper. I'm wondering if it will actually work for what I need.

It looks like the key is uncut, so I would think I would just get someone to cut the key to fit my car, but then the description says "all you do is unscrew a few screws and you're done" so I don't know what that means. It also mentions that it is compatible with all short, medium and long blade remotes, so I'm wondering if I should have a remote already to be able to buy this one, since all I have right now is the standard key.
