I bought a new (used) car about two weeks ago. It had been keyed back bumper to front on the passenger side door. It had been repaired but it looked like a "do it yourself" job and though its not horribly noticeable, I dislike seeing a painted over key mark all the way down my pretty car. I want to take it in to a car place for a quote to fix it. Its one fine line all the way down the side and some places deeper and others a bit lighter. Its already been "touched up" so I don't know if that will effect price. But I kind of want to know how much to expect it to cost. I plan to take it to Maaco, which claims they will do it 33% cheaper (claims) but its the closest paint shop around my area. So if anyone knows what the repair on the already "touched up" key mark is let me no. Its about 7ft long, bumper to bumper, car is black so its been touched up probably with universal black touch up kit, not totally visible but sits above the factory paint job. Thanks!
