Quick, though maybe not easy question. I have a Shift Tech CF cover to go over the nasty stock rubber piece that protects the tank from the ignition switch and key danglers. Problem is this, the two posts that this sits on are not even on my bike. One is not flush with the aluminium base plate. I figured this out when I pulled the rubber cover up as I couldn't get the CF piece to sit flush and not rub on the tank.
So anyone know how these are inserted? I can't figure out if they are press fit, or if they are threaded.....Any help trying to get them flush so I can mount the nice new Shift-Tech piece would be great......
