Kevin Smith

Does anyone know if there are any plans or a new Kevin Smith film in the future? Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing Amy/Dogma are amongst the best films ever made (IMO) (although ...strike back was dissapointing).

I remember reading somewhere that he was working on a PG13 movie, but never heard any more after that.

He's bringing a film out soon called Jersey Girl, starring Ben Affleck, J-Lo (who dies early on :) ), Liv Tyler and Jason Biggs (aka the pie f**ker). It's meant to be more of a grown up film and has been getting some decent reviews.

A good place to find out all things Kevin Smith is www.viewaskew.com. Also, if you have a multi-region DVD player, a DVD called An Evening with Kevin Smith is very amusing.

He's working on an animated film version of Clerks. From watching the early test screens from the www.viewaskew.com site they look promising. Just as good as the movie. The Clerks cartoon TV show was ok but not fantastic. I don't think Kevin Smith had much to do with it, just cashing in.

"An Evening with Kevin Smith" is hilarious, a must see for any fan of the guy and his work:)
The story of his first "encounter" with his wife is worth the purchase/rental price alone.

Cool cheers, Good to hear that there's a new film out soon. Has anyone seen the preview for 'Jersery Girl' at the cinema? Been a few times recently, but all we got was Spiderman and Day after Tomorrow... boring!
