I love Chasing Amy. The Jay and Silent Bob movies are kinda funny in a stupid way. And say Jersey Girl the other day

I just got the Evening with KS DVD a couple of weeks ago, and it was pretty funny... That man swears a lot... And the audience was pretty weird... There was that one idiot who asked him if he could suck his dick for 5 bucks... That was so stupid. And then there was that "WHOOO" guy. But there was that girl who said she hated Chasing Amy and they had that little discussion about it... That was interesting.

His stories went on so long, too. I liked that. Someone would ask him a simple question and he could've just answered it with two sentences, but he'd go on for 5 to 10 minutes...

I also got the CHASING AMY DVD, too. I have the Dogma DVD, but the Chasing Amy one is better... The Dogman DVD has a ton of deleted scenes, but the I liked the commentary on Chasing Amy better, and the outtakes were funnier, though shorter... I'm thinking about getting the Mallrats DVD... Should I?

I want to see Jersey Girl now... Why can't they release that before Gigli? I heard test audiences hated Gigli...

first interview ever with the super funny Raquel Castro who plays the Jersey Girl, she's 7.

the tv version of Mallrats is terrible, not only do they censor the language , they also cut out the product placement by weirdly focusing on TS's face at one point, and even the wedding sequence in the end was cut because it takes place in a non-Disney park. The end result is not pretty.

Kevin is the man for doing that.

Plus we can`t forget about the scene where we got to see Eliza in her undies. The only thing that would`ve made Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back better if it had a scene where we got to see Eliza do a hot kiss with Ali Larter.

After all i detected plenty of subtext between them, especially during the robbery scene.

I love Kevin Smith movies. All of them. I'd have to say that Chasing Amy and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back are my favorites. They are kind of different movies so its hard to pick between the two. I love them both for different reasons.

I agree with you on that Chris. Jay and Silent Bob censored is like Kool Aid without sugar. BTW i`m also a huge fan of Kevin Smith`s movies. I never get tired of watching them, especially Clerks and Mallrats. However i really need to see Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back soon.

Yeah, i think he's not his personal fave kind of movie to direct, but i love when directors do new things and direct different kind of movies.

actually jenna that is not a real poster, it's a mock-up made by Latino Review.
Notice that Ben's picture is from the Pearl Harbor junket and Liv's is a Lord of The Rings promotional photo. They both have different looks in Jersey Girl. And Ben has 1st billing in the movie and his name will go first in the actual poster when it comes out.

In case anyone doesn't know this is the cast list for Jersey Girl

BEN AFFLECK
GEORGE CARLIN
RAQUEL CASTRO
JENNIFER LOPEZ
LIV TYLER
JASON BIGGS
STEPHEN ROOT
MIKE STARR
JENNIFER SCHWALBACH

i almost didn't want to post here because i am a massive kevin smith fan and i don't want to start gushing like a 12 year old.

The man is funny, cool, brilliant, sweet, seedy.
He is also down to earth and humble.
(that's the opinion i get from interviews etc)

i love all his films but clerks is the best.

Ok

mallrats was on yesterday, but it was sensored so it wasn't all that great. A sensored Jay and Jason Lee is just wrong.

I like Randall and Dante. Out of all the movies that Ben was in I would have to say I liked him best in Mallrats.
