kenwood kac9103 class d amp and 2 alpine type r 12s?

its rated at 900 watts rms and my subs can take 300-500. im not turning the amp up all the way. the subs are in ported box. and are brand spankin new. with 4 guage wire and all that fun stuff to hook up.

think this is gonna sound good

and which way will sound better facing them with the magnet inside the box or facing out. lemme know what you think about this whole hook up
 
Sounds like a cool project.

I would face the subs cone out. Then face them to the rear of the trunk.

I think that this amp is 1 ohm stable. That would be really good if you bought the Dual 4ohm voice coil subs as you can get all of the power of that amp.
This amp will push those subs so hard in a ported box

well... are your type subs 2 ohm or 4 ohm.
because if their 4 ohm the amp wont give off enough for your subs.
other than that it will sound good
