A few months I bought a 1995 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 from a local dealer. I soon discivered that the odometer didn't work. Therefore, I don't know the acctual mileage of the vehicle. IWAS NOT TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THE ODOMETER DID NOT WORK. I informed the dealer of my discovery and he wants to put another cluster in the vehicle with the relative mileage. I think he is trying to cover up his mistake to stay out of trouble.
All in all I guess my question is, was it legal for this company to sell me a car not knowing the acctual miles? Especially since he didn't inform me of this or put Actual Miles Unknow on the title.
I appreciate your time.
