Ken Russell's "The Devils"

I watched this today for the first time in about 15 years, and it remains absolutely stunning .
The whole cast is outstanding with Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave especially brilliant.
I was just wandering if there are any other admirers of the film out there, and if anyone knows if a long overdue DVD release is imminant.
 
It's my favourite film of all time, and I genuinely believe it to be one of the best (ie finest, as in quality in all aspects) films ever made. The fact that this serious, relevant adult film will forever remain such 'damaged gooRAB' in terms of its censorship history breaks my heart, especially when looking at everything that sails through untouched these days.

As to the DVD, who knows if it will ever materialise. Probably not in Ken's lifetime, which I think is disgusting, although there is some debate at the moment about an imminent Spanish release and whether it's the same as the bootleg version or not.
