If anything is going to fail it's the Wii IMO. All it has now and in the future is Zelda. What other "need to own" games are exclusively coming out for it?

Whatev, the list goes on with more not good games. All they have is Metroid that's worth mentioning and that game isn't that great in terms of shooters.
Almost 0 3rd party support as usual.
In 6 months you will be bored with the controller and you'll realize it's not as great as you think...at least that's what drove me to not buy a Wii and just buy Zelda on my GC. All Nintendo has left is portable gaming. They havent had a console since SNES and since then Zeldas and Goldeneye. Everything else just wasnt that good. Even the Marios that made Nintendo aren't good anymore. Their console days are/should be over. I want to see Zelda on a system that has other games. Until then, I'll just buy the GC TP and won't buy a Wii til the next Zelda.

You can't forget Smash Bros. coming out next year. And I'm realizing now that the Wiimote has tons of possibilities with what you can do with it. The SNES was so good because it was in a tight race with the Genesis, and I see this generation, for the most part, being a tight race and this could possibly be one of the best times to be a console gamer.

technologies that they use on these things (not talking about consoles) are so similar that arent funny anymore, why pay a premium for a brand when you can buy the same thing from a reputable brand
