I assumed that they just got muddled and meant Pygmalion. But the involvement of Cameron Mackintosh makes me think that it IS the musical verison.

Audrey Hepburn didn't do the singing in the original version, her voice was dubbed by Marni Nixon.

Can't say I'm surprised, I don't think I've ever heard an American actor make a convincing show of a cockney accent. Hell it's hard enough for British actors it seems.

I don't think Anne Hathaway will be that bothered as she's tipped to play Judy Garland in a new musical soon. 'Get Happy' i believe it's called. She's born to play that role.

I don't care if it's a remake of My Fair Lady or a new version of Pygmalion - I am excited for this movie. I love the story, I love the characters and I can't see them making a complete mess of it. It's possible, of course, but I just have good feelings about this.

I'm not all that keen on Keira Knightley, but they could have chosen wore. I find it amusing that she's doing another period piece playing Eliza - she's played at least two Elizabeths already!

I'm not sure about Daniel Craig as Henry Higgins though, but I'm prepared to give him a chance. He surprised me as James Bond, maybe he'll do it again - if he will be playing him, of course. Maybe they'll choose someone else in the end.
