keeping cats away from outdoor flower pots?

Experience with garlic and moth balls have shown they don't work for my cat. What I found that does work is Hot Chili Powders. Sprinkle the soil, and they will avoid the pots after one dood sniff.

does anybody have any tips that keep kittys from digging into flower pots that is safe and non$ I have heard that moth balls work but i just dont find them safe

just regular table pepper
when they scratch it irritates their nose like it does ours

put some garlic in the flower pots. Cats do not like the smell of garlic.

I put brown colored glass bottles, like beer bottles, around the plants...I lay them on their sides; only takes a couple. They look good because they blend...you could use green or blue, etc
Cats don't like the rounded smooth edges..
works great..I have four cats
