Keep stock, Or modify.... A Honda '89 Civic.?

Its an automatic btw.
I want to have this as a first car and mod it alot. ( no, not into a ricer). Or keep it in storage as an antique? according to my dad(haha, accord), who knows alot about cars, says it will be worth alot more in years to come, because it has about 33K miles on it.

I say don't touch it. It is already slower than the stock manual 89 civics, and its performance will not be improved enough tojustify the cost. Save up your money and upgrade to a more capable car down the road.

Idk about the antique status, it depends on how ground breaking of a car it was. My gut tells me that it will not be collectable at all

Honestly dude. Do what you want. It's not that hard to convert it to manual. I mean considering the mileage, you could do some sick stuff with it just because it obviously has a TON of life left in it. I mean it's all on you, some people will tell you it is not worth it, but if it is to you, then go ahead. If you think it is worth putting money into, then go ahead,

to do i half half and keep it nice i restored one in JDM here's a way to make it simply JDM(Light Jdm mods)here's what i did to the car and what 55 percent of the 4thgen does
1.Rota Slipstreamss
2.restors body parts (exterior&Interior)
3.New lights(Tail&Head)
JDM Engine(Add full exaust and don't put a fart cannon onGOTO Passwordjdm.com and buy an engine
4.repaint it and should look nice

Its not going to be worth more ever. Make it how you want and run it the rest of the way into the ground.

Honestly I wouldn't mod it though. I'd sell it as soon as I could get something better.
