keep or sell ps3?

i walked into walmart last night to pick up some cds and was walking by the playstation section and out of the corner of my eye saw the playstation 3 logo. i looked over and there was two 60 gb ps3's. ive never really wanted one but i couldnt turn down the opportunity i had.

i picked one up (wishing i had of picked up both of them now) hoping to sell it and make a couple dollars, or just sell it to a buddy that wants one real bad, but now that i have it i wanna keep it for no real reason other than to have a ps3

what does ot think? should i keep it or sell it? convince me one way or another
 
Well, from what I hear people aren't getting that much money for them anymore. If you have a friend that wants one real bad, be a good friend and sell it to him for what you paid.
 
yeah i doubt you'll make much selling it. maybe with a buy-it-now on ebay and 2-day shipping for xmas, but that's still kind of a long shot. best bet is to sell it to a friend for what you paid for it (and make them buy you dinner, or something), or keep it if you want it.

then i see stuff like this and i think about going to ebay
 
Fake auctions. Do a search of completed auctions. 2/3rds couldn't even hit their reserve. Then you see a few $4500 actions which is just stupid to believe. Then you see the "real" auctions that sold for $640, $560, $700.

People are starting to get desperate to sell their PS3's before Christmas because they maxed out their credit cards thinking they would double their money and now they are seeing they are going to be lucky to make $50.

Just sell it to your friend and make someone you like happy for Christs sake.
 
I went to Bestbuy yesterday to return something, and a guy got in line behind me with a 20gb PS3 he was returning...It took a lot of self restraint not to buy as soon as he returned it...

I think if it was a 60gb I would have went for it...
