I have just moved in, I have a little dog who is good with any animals (my chickens, ducks, our old cat etc) but if it is a new smell or I'm not "owning it" and it runs, he will chase it / play with it.
Next door's cat seems to parade around my back garden, a LOT. I let my dog out after supper and it scarpered, chased the cat all round, cat escaped up tree and over the fence, but it's winding my dog up. Happened a couple of times now, but the cat still comes, but my dog actually nipped it last night and drew blood on the tail.
The cat shouldn't be in there.
I've half a mind to shoot it myself. But I want to get along with neighbors, any repellants / solutions that wont disturb my dog? (no sonic deterrants, stuff like that)
