Castrol GTX has those additives that aren't particularly good for a sport bike.
If you are in an area that temps stay about 85 and up, go with 20W40 for maximum protection. In my experience 10W40 burns up and thins out too fast. Again that all depends on climate and riding style.
If it's moderate temps go with the 10W40 and stick with it all year.
