I have a kawasaki z1300 that wont start. It was running fine.i started it one morning to head off to work, and it just cut out on me and now wont start at all.
I have fuel,a spark, and compression.battery is fully charged.im no mechanic but it seems to me there is no fuel getting through.Ive checked all the usual easy fuel stuff, pet cock ok,fuel filter cleaned etc, fuel is getting from tank to the carbs..Im thinking it may be something a bit more...help please
has brand new plugs and battery.as stated,i done the basics first.
Thanks all.
i thought i had flooded the engine when i checked the plugs they where not wet?.
It is cranking over, seems it wants to fire up.
spark is good, checked all the plugs.as to the kill switch etc, where is that located?.
as i have said ,ive done all the basics,so now im thinking i need to look deeper.
many thanks for all your help.
its very frustrating.
right.
Ive cleaned the carbs, jets, etc.still wont start.it would appear no fuel is getiing to the egine.Fuel fron tank to carbs ok.
but after trying to start with choke etc, when i check the plugs, not even wet or smell of petrol.?? no petrol smell from exhaust either?...confused and baffled..
