kawasaki z1000 or ninja zx6r?

As you say, there's not much between them as regards top speed. But top speed isn't everything. I would consider other factors such as comfort, fuel economy, insurance cost, luggage capacity, price and availability of spares, and so on. Get a test ride on both - at least 20 minutes on each and see which suits your riding style and offers the most comfort and the best handling. A few mph either way, when you're talking about speeds above 150 mph, is hardly important. Or not in my opinion anyway. Pete.
 
i was thinking of buying a kawasaki z1000 or a ninja zx6r i was trying to figure out which is the faster of the two i know the zx6r is lighter but has a smaller enigine but it seems that everything i find online says the hp is about the same the z1000 is used its a 05 with 3k miles for 5k and the zx6r i was gonna buy new so basicly if the z1000 can keep up with the zx6r ill take it and save a lil cash
