I have recently bought a jack up kit to raise the back end of the bike by 35mm, I have received them, however when I went to check the length of these they were smaller than the original dog bones on the bike, I was expecting them to be longer!
Has any one fitted a pair of after market dog bones to raise the tail end of their bike? If so were your after markets longer or shorter? Please help as I don't want to have the wrong ones fitted!
Many thanks

it all depends on the lower suspension setups...there are many linkage Designs on bikes....a dtr125 needs longer link to lift/jack it up...now a bandit uses longer ones to lower it.....
.i know,i make them

Have fitted the same kit to a bandit, and yes they are smaller, its the way the cantilever works on the mono shock.
The shorter they are the higher it lifts as odd as this sounds. you can also get longer ones to lower it for the short of leg.
So don't dispair the shorter ones are correct for a lift.
